The annual art and craft fair venue in Benzie County, Michigan, attracts artisans to showcase and sell their masterpieces. From paintings to jewelry, it's available here.

Artists and craftsmen apply well in advance to be a part of the highly anticipated art and craft fairs scheduled throughout the year in Benzie County, Michigan. In turn, the shows attract thousands of shoppers looking for unique pieces to decorate their homes and to give as gifts. Since most of the items are not available in retail stores, this is the perfect time to take advantage of the selection to fulfill holiday purchasing.

The hand-crafted assortment can range from paintings to ceramics, wood carvings to hand-loomed rugs, and yard décor to maple syrup. The event coordinators work diligently to ensure a balance of the mediums. Food and beverage vendors, comprised of volunteers, are on site to raise money for several local non-profit organizations.

13th Annual Frankfort Spring Craft Fair will be held on June 20, 2009, in the Market Square Park on M-22 in Frankfort. The first craft fair of the year in Benzie County usually has warm, sunny weather. This event averages 110 artist and is sponsored by the Frankfort-Elberta Area Chamber of Commerce.

Art In The Park will be held on July 4, 2009, in Mineral Springs Park in Frankfort. The City of Frankfort celebrates Independence Day with many activities including a parade, fishing tournament, fireworks and "Art in the Park." Sponsored by the Crystal Lake Art Center.

Beulah Art Fair (Juried) will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2000, in the Beulah Park in the Village of Beulah overlooking Crystal Lake. Each year, artists from all over the county gather to sell their goods in under the canopy of the large maple trees. Sponsored by Crystal Lake Community/Business Association.

19th Annual Elberta Art and Craft Fair is scheduled for July 18, 2009, in the Elberta Waterfront Park in Elberta on M-168. On the edge of Betsie Bay, it provides an ambiance second to none. On average, 60+ artist participate in this Frankfort-Elberta Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored event.

Crystal Lake Art Show (Juried) is scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at the Congregational Summer Assembly, 2-miles north of Frankfort on M-22. The historical site of the Congregational Summer Assembly offers a unique setting for its participants and shoppers.

33rd Annual Frankfort Art Fair (Juried) will be held Friday evening, August 14, 2009 and all day Saturday, August 15th in the Market Square Park on M-22 in Frankfort. This event attracts over 5,000 people each year to shop the 180 (average) booths and as been listed as one of the Top 10 Art Fairs in Michigan. Sponsored by the Frankfort-Elberta Area Chamber of Commerce.

National Coho Festival Art & Crafts/Flea Market is held on the last weekend of August in Maley Park in the Village of Honor on US-31. For over 40 years, this event continues to attract people from all over the region for its family fun activities. Festival is sponsored by National Coho Festival.

14th Annual Holly Berry Arts & Crafts Fair is held on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It is located inside the Frankfort-Elberta Area High School. Holiday shopping couldn’t get any easier than this. It averages 80 artists and is sponsored by the Frankfort-Elberta Area Chamber of Commerce.
