The Hyatt Place is a new hotel in the Grand Rapids suburb of Wyoming. It is just ten minutes from downtown and close to many popular West Michigan destinations.
The city of Grand Rapids (on the west side of the state of Michigan) is making every effort to become a mecca for medical research. One emerging medical center is that of Metropolitan Hospital located in the suburb of Wyoming, about 7 minutes south of Grand Rapids. With an influx of real estate development taking place in Wyoming, it's no wonder the Hyatt chose this venue for one of its newest facilities. Opened just a few months ago, the Hyatt Place Grand Rapids/Wyoming will be an obvious choice for guests visiting the Metro Health Village. But, it is also within close proximity of many popular attractions in the greater Grand Rapids area. It is about a 30 minute drive from Grand Valley State University, 15 minutes from Frederick Meijer Gardens and just 10 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids. Rooms at the Hyatt Place Grand Rapids/WyomingGuests can choose from rooms with two double beds or one king. Rooms are more suite style offering a sitting area with a sectional sofa sleeper, leather ottoman and 42" flat screen television. Each room is also furnished with a desk/chair (for office use) and tiny kitchenette with mini-refrigerator, coffee maker and sink area. The sleep area is separated from the sitting area and offers luxury bedding, two nightstands, telephone and alarm clock. As with many new hotels, there is an over-sized shower but no tub in the rooms. Room rates range from around $100-$150 per night.
